The following operations are supported. For a formal definition, please review the Service Description.

• AppendStudentNote
  This method will update or add a Student Note. If the Note already exists, append to the Note; otherwise an insert is performed, but only if CanCreate is true.
• AppendStudentObjectComment
  This method will update or add a fact or progression item to a student's track. If the object type already exists, append to the comment; otherwise an insert is performed, but only if CanCreate is true.
• GetActiveObjectsForOrg
  This method returns information about each active university, college, and organizational object definition that is usable by a given Academic Organization.
• GetActiveStudentTestScoresForOrg
  This method will return test scores for students with active tracks in an academic organization.
• GetActiveStudentTracksForOrg
  This method will return information about each active student Tracks in a given academic organization.
• GetActiveStudentTracksForOrg_Extended
  This method will return information about each active student Tracks in a given academic organization with extended student information.
• GetStudentCommittee
  This method will return information about the committee members associated with a student's track.
• GetStudentCommitteeForOrg
  This method will return information about the committee members associated with all the students in the given Academic Organization
• GetStudentNotesForOrg
  This method returns all student notes for students with an active track in the organization.
• GetStudentObject
  This method returns information about a progression or fact item identified by student track type and object type.
• GetStudentObjectAttachment
  This method returns attachment(s) associated with a progression or fact item identified by student track type and object type.
• GetStudentObjectAttachmentInfo
  This method returns information about attachment(s) associated with a progression or fact item identified by student track type and object type.
• GetStudentObjectAttachmentInfoForOrg
  This method returns information about attachments associated with a progression or fact item identified by Acad_Org and object type.
• GetStudentObjectForOrg
  This method returns information about a progression or fact item identified by Acad_Org and object type.
• GetStudentProgramPlans
  This method will return information about student program plans in a given academic organization.
• GetStudentProgramPlans_Extended
  This method will return information about student program plans in a given academic organization with extended student information.
• GetStudentTestScores
  This method will return test scores for students with active tracks in an academic organization.
• Login
  This method authenticates the FSUID and password, looks up the user's Graduate Student Tracking authorization and returns an AuthCode token in the response. This authorization is scheduled to expire in 30 minutes.
• PutStudentNote
  This method will update or add a Student Note. If the Note already exists, an update is performed; otherwise an insert is performed, but only if CanCreate is true.
• PutStudentObject
  This method will update or add a fact or progression item to a student's track. If the object type already exists, an update is performed; otherwise an insert is performed, but only if CanCreate is true.

This web service is using http://tempuri.org/ as its default namespace.

Recommendation: Change the default namespace before the XML Web service is made public.

Each XML Web service needs a unique namespace in order for client applications to distinguish it from other services on the Web. http://tempuri.org/ is available for XML Web services that are under development, but published XML Web services should use a more permanent namespace.

Your XML Web service should be identified by a namespace that you control. For example, you can use your company's Internet domain name as part of the namespace. Although many XML Web service namespaces look like URLs, they need not point to actual resources on the Web. (XML Web service namespaces are URIs.)

For XML Web services creating using ASP.NET, the default namespace can be changed using the WebService attribute's Namespace property. The WebService attribute is an attribute applied to the class that contains the XML Web service methods. Below is a code example that sets the namespace to "http://microsoft.com/webservices/":
